How to Get Rid of Warts on the Face

by Ingela

Let’s face it, warts aren’t pretty, especially if they are on your face. In this article I’ll briefly go through how you can get rid of warts on the face.

As you may know, warts are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV). Many experts are still confused why some get them and others don’t.

They believe it has to do with the immune system, but they aren’t sure. When you’re learning how to remove warts from your face, you have to be extra careful, because many conventional treatments may leave scars and ugly marks.

For example, if you go to your doctor, they may use salicylic acid, or other substances to try and remove warts from the face, which has been known to cause some bad marks after the treatment which may take quite some time to heal.

Whatever You Do, Stay Calm

Warts on the face can be alarming, because they are there for everyone to see, so I can understand that you want to get rid of it or them as soon as possible.

One of the remedies I discovered while I was researching home remedies for warts was the power of thought and intention.

Now, I know this may sound odd, but hear me out.

There are multiple stories where people have gotten their warts to disappear with willpower alone. I’m not saying that you should use the power of thought only.

What I am saying is that if you keep thinking negatively of what’s going to happen, it may just come true, and if nothing else, it will cause unnecessary stress, which has been proven to weaken the immune system, and cause problems in the body.

How to Get Rid of Warts on the Face

With all that said, how do you actually remove warts on the face? Where should you start? Who should you trust?

I have listed three simple remedies that you can start with below. They are very mild and kind to your face, which is especially important when removing warts on the face.

1. Banana Peels. Take the inside of a banana peel, apply it on your wart, and rub for as long as you want. If you’re home, you can attach a piece of a banana peel to your face with a band-aid and keep it there. This works because of the potassium in the banana. Many have been gotten rid of their warts by eating more bananas. Strange, huh?

2. Garlic. Garlic is excellent for a lot of things, and warts on the face are no exception. Buy fresh garlic cloves, crush them, and apply them to your wart. It may sting a little at first, which is good. Start by holding the garlic on your wart for a small amount of time and see how your skin reacts.

3. Dandelion Sap. Many old-timers use dandelion sap to get rid of warts all over the body. Simply apply the sap on your wart a few times a day, and you should start seeing results within a week or two. I know that isn’t fast enough for you, but have patience!
